Winter Bike Storage Tips From James McRury
Steve, our marketing assistant, talked with James McRury, who is the owner of Keyes Cycles Parts, & Service. He offered some tips on how to get your bike ready for the off season, winter!
1.) If it is an older bike; remove or install battery tender
2.) Change engine oil – always store bike with fresh oil
3.) Stable fuel- add a fuel additive, and run the bike so the additive gets into the carburetor
4.) Give your bike a thorough cleaning and use a chrome cleaner
5.)Â Always store bike with proper tire pressure
