WARNING: Honda Vehicle Brake Recall
Honda has recalled over 18,000 vehicles due to issues with the braking system.
In certain Honda models, the brake booster parts were made incorrectly, affecting the functioning of the brakes over time.
Recalled Honda Models
The vehicles included in this recall are the 2006 Acura RSX and the 2006 and 2007 Honda S2000.
The specific issue with the brake booster parts can cause the braking power of the vehicles to decrease over time, as well as increase the risk of a crash.
The problem was found by Honda as they were watching warranty claims. There have been no injuries reported that are linked to the issue and owners of the affected models will be notified of the recall by mail next month.
Vehicle owners can take their cars to a dealer for a replacement brake booster if one is needed.
