WARNING: Applegate Naturals Gluten-Free Chicken Nugget Recall
Applegate Naturals Gluten-Free Chicken Nuggets have been recalled, due to a mislabeled batch of gluten-free nuggets.
It is estimated that 3,144 packages of Applegate’s gluten-free chicken nuggets may contain gluten, and could cause harm to any consumer with Celiac Disease or Gluten Intolerance.
The 8-ounce packages of Applegate Naturals Gluten-Free Chicken Nuggets with the “Best Before” date of August 28, 2013, and Lot Code 210864 are affected by this recall.
Applegate Naturals urges consumers to return the recalled product to the retailer where it was purchased. Applegate has not received any reports of illness from these recalled chicken nuggets.
