Iron Worker Crushes Leg

An iron worker has filed a lawsuit against Bechtel Power Corporation. The lawsuit states that Daron Nowark was working on completing a construction project when his left leg was crushed between two pieces of metal, one weighing more than 15,000 pounds. The accident happened in November of 2008.

In addition to leg injuries, the lawsuit states that Mr. Nowark suffered great mental and physical pain and anguish, incurred medical costs, lost income, his earning capacity and experienced that he has permanent physical disabilities because of the accident.

The lawsuit seeks a judgment of more than $500,000.
