The FDA has approved a new generic form of Yaz called Zarah. this product is made by Watson Laboratories, Inc. Watson pharmaceuticals had benn sued by Bayer previously for infringing on its Yasmin patent.
This however, will not stop the distribution of Zarah.
Watson might soon find itslef involved in personal injury lawsuits though becasue many injuries because of Yaz and Yasmin have been reported since Zarah is the generic form, injuries are likely.
