Crash With School Bus Critically Injures 18-Year-Old Boy
A Thomas Edison Schools bus was traveling west on U.S. 30 on Friday morning when it was struck by 18-year-old driver Zechariah Price. The school bus accident happened at Ohio 49 North.
The 18-year-old driver was critically injured in the crash and was taken to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne. Our thoughts are with the boy and his family as he recovers from his injuries.
Two passengers on the bus were treated for minor injuries. Aide Tine and a student in a wheelchair, Issac Smith were treated.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol said that Price’s vehicle was traveling south on Ohio 49 and failed to yield to the bus.
School Bus Passengers Injured in the Accident
While the crash remains under investigation at this time, it appears as though the at-fault driver is 18-year-old Zechariah Price, who failed to yield.
