Children Injured After Tree Falls On Bus
Not far from Toledo, a bus accident left 5 children with minor injuries.
The incident happened Thursday morning as the bus was traveling East on Gorman. As the bus passed a thicket of dead trees, a 3-foot wide tree fell on the bus, smashing the windshield and rolling over the bus.
Eventually, the tree fell off the back, but not before it smashed several windows.
The driver was not harmed in the incident, but 5 children were taken by ambulance from the scene to a nearby hospital. The students that were injured in the crash were mostly elementary aged.
Another bus was sent out to the scene to transport the rest of the children.
