Charles Boyk Law Office Races For The Cure
The Charles E. Boyk Law Office has been a long-time supporter of the Race for the Cure. The race was held on September 29th in downtown Toledo and the employees of our law office were there to show their support by running and walking the race.
Our law office doesn’t just represent clients from the Northwest Ohio community; we support organizations and nonprofits that make this a better place to live. You can see that in our recent Good News, Good People campaign.
So, when the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure comes into town, we show up in our team shirts and give support to those fighting cancer.
Being involved in such a great race is inspiring. Breast cancer is close to the hearts of many as it is likely that each of us personally know someone who has battled breast cancer, or have battled breast cancer ourselves. To see so many people from our community show up and support the cause is amazing and reminds us how strong the community is that we serve.
As a law office, we have a special connection to those fighting cancer.
Representing the families of the Clyde Cancer Cluster has brought us even closer to the cause. Some of the Clyde residents who were affected by the cancer cluster developed breast cancer, so when we were on the streets of Toledo for the race, we proudly wore our “No One Stands Alone” shirts as we strongly believe in finding the cause for cancer in Clyde, and supporting organizations that are working to find the cure.
