Charges Filed In Motorcycle Accident
A man has been charged with aggravated DUI and reckless homicide over a crash between a car and a motorcycle that occurred in October. Tragically leaving one of the parties involved dead.
Matthew Lambert, 28, was driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol on October 10th of this year. As Mr. Lambert attempted to make a left-hand turn in front of a motorcycle the two vehicles collided with each other.
The driver of the motorcycle was seriously hurt in the accident and hospitalized, while the passenger, 46-year-old Colleen Hinkler, died from the injuries she sustained.
Police records show that Mr. Lambert’s blood alcohol content was .
103 and that he tested positive for tetrahydrocannabinol metabolite, a component of cannabis when a drug screen was done of his blood.
Tragic accidents like this fatal motorcycle accident can be avoided.
