$95,000 Settlement – Man Sustains Broken Arm in Motorcycle Accident

In July 2017, our client sustained several injuries when in was involved in a motor vehicle accident. Our client was at traveling eastbound on Kibby Street in Lima, Ohio, and approaching an intersection, when the defendant driver failed to yield to our client, turning in front of him and causing a collision. Our client, who was riding his motorcycle, tried to avoid the collision, however, was unable to. Our client went to a nearby hospital for treatment and was admitted overnight for observation.

Our client was found to have sustained road rash to his arm and shoulder, numerous lacerations to his hands, and broken bones in his arm and hand resulting in the need for his left arm to be placed in a cast. Due to his arm being placed in a cast, our client was off work for four months which resulted in a significant financial strain on our client.

Our client reached out to our firm shortly after the accident for assistance in his recovery. Due to a successful negotiation, we were able to avoid the need for him to undergo stressful litigation as we were able to obtain a satisfactory settlement for him.
