Lucas County Driver Sues for Injuries Arising From a Chain Reaction Automobile Collision
On February 2, 2020, in Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio, one of our clients was in a chain reaction automobile collision caused by another driver. Our client was traveling eastbound on Central Avenue and was properly slowing to stop as she approached the intersection of Central and Exmoor Drive. The driver of a vehicle behind her failed to bring his vehicle to a stop, leading to a rear-end collision with our client.  In turn, our client was then pushed into the rear of the vehicle that was stopped in front of her. The Ottawa Hills Police confirmed the defendant’s failure to maintain a safe assured clear distance.
