Vannessa Wilson
Vannessa entered college intending to be the first woman in her family to obtain a bachelor’s degree in three generations. Working hard to meet her goals, she graduated college with a Bachelor’s in Law and Social Thought and a minor in Political Science. Before joining Charles Boyk Law, Vannessa worked with various financial law firms in the Ohio area and interned for the Canadian Parliament, watching bills become law. Being exposed to multiple areas of the law, Vannessa decided to use her skills to “be the change you want to see in the world.”-Gandhi
Joining the Mass Torts division at Charles Boyk Law Offices, Vannessa uses her skills, experience, and drive to protect our clients against self-serving corporations, saying, “It’s an honor to fight capitalistic greed in a profound way.” Although Vannessa has worked in various fields of law, joining our law office and working with personal injury clients Vannessa feels a deep sense of reward for helping clients during turbulent and unsure times and advocating for those who sometimes feel that they cannot speak up for themselves. Caring deeply for her clients, she cherishes the rewarding feeling of assisting them so they may feel relief in challenging times.
A fan of the fantasy genre, Vannessa enjoys watching Game of Thrones and grew up a fan of the Harry Potter series, as many children and adults have since his introduction to readers in 2001. Cooking and baking meals from scratch is a way she can show friends and family appreciation with homemade candies and goodies throughout the holidays.
