Injured Toledo Driver Seeks Compensation for Failure to Yield Accident
On May 17, 2019, our client was driving northbound on Secor Road in Toledo, Ohio, when another motorist traveling southbound attempted to turn left directly in front of him. The other driver’s failure to yield to the right-of-way resulted in a T-bone collision between the two vehicles.
The Toledo Police Department responded to the scene, citing the at-fault driver for violating the right-of-way on a left turn. Our client was taken to the emergency room, where he began treatment for serious injuries to his arm, neck, back, and head.
Pursuing Legal Action Against the Negligent Driver
The negligent driver breached her duty of care to our client when she failed to yield to the right-of-way of oncoming traffic during her left-hand turn. Due to the defendant’s negligence, our client sustained serious injuries that have required intensive medical care.
The economic losses, pain, suffering, and emotional distress he has experienced since the accident have negatively impacted his quality of life. Unfortunately, our client believes his injuries are permanent, meaning he will continue to incur economic and non-economic losses. To recoup these damages, we are seeking full compensation from the negligent driver on behalf of our client.
