Detroit Avenue Rear-End Collision Leads to Lawsuit
In May 2018, our client was involved in a rear-end collision in Toledo, Ohio.
While driving on Detroit Avenue, our client had to make an abrupt stop when the vehicle in front of her made a sudden left-hand turn. As a result, the car tailing our client collided with the rear-end of her vehicle. This accident caused permanent injuries to our client’s head, neck, back, bilateral shoulders, and right hand.
Following the incident, our client sought medical treatment for her injuries. The past and continuing treatment of these conditions resulted in our client having to pay extensive medical costs.
Because of this, we worked with our client to develop a plan to get her life back on track by initiating a lawsuit against the negligent driver.
Furthermore, we are pursuing litigation against our client’s insurance company, Progressive Specialty Insurance Company, to demand they provide coverage for our client under her underinsured and uninsured policy.
