Charles Boyk Law Sponsors 419 Music Festival
The 419 Music Fest was held on Saturday September 16th from 1pm – 10pm at the Fire Station Grill on Holland-Sylvania and Airport Highway. Festival entertainment included performances by Distant Cousinz, Venyx, Noisy Neighbors, 2 Left Missing, Piggyback Jones, Beef Carvers, Not Your Average, and My 80s Vice.
All proceeds benefitted the Hero Program Springfield Township Local 3544 firefighters, Sylvania Township Local 2243 firefighters.
The Hero Program helps local firefighters take proactive steps to reduce the number of nonemergency calls to 911. The program reaches out to individuals and households to identify issues and improve conditions that might lead them to call 911 for help in a non-emergency situation, which could keep or delay fire and EMS resources from responding to actual emergencies.
