Car Crosses Centerline Causing Snowboarding Trip to go Downhill
Our client was a front-seat passenger returning to her hotel from snowboarding when an oncoming driver lost control, crossed the centerline and struck the vehicle our client was in head-on. The accident, which happened in Otsego County, Michigan, caused our client to go unconscious and have memory loss surrounding the events. The accident also resulted in serious injuries to our client, including facial scarring, neck fractures, a concussion, and anxiety. Our client was taken by ambulance to Otsego Memorial Hospital.
Our firm is resolutely advancing a negligence claim for our client to ensure she gets the support and compensation she needs for the damage inflicted by the other driver’s negligence. Charles Boyk and his team are fully committed to defending our client’s rights and achieving the justice she deserves.
Failure to Negotiate a Curve causes Spinout Accident.
Our client was making a delivery for work in Toledo, Ohio. As he was driving, a car took a curve too quickly and began to spin. The car crossed the central line and struck our client’s vehicle. This collision caused our client’s vehicle to go off-road and crash into a parked vehicle. As a result of the driver’s negligence, our client broke three ribs and his ankle. He was immediately taken by the Toledo Fire Department to Flower Hospital, where he underwent ankle surgery and started physical therapy.
Mike Bruno and his team are working diligently on behalf of our client to ensure he is justly compensated for his injuries and feels fully supported through these difficult times. As part of that effort, our firm is also helping him navigate the workers’ compensation process.
Work Fall Leads to Multiple Broken Bones & Surgery
Our client was called into work for an emergency cleanup. As she was cleaning up broken glass, she slipped and fell. As a result, she had suffered numerous injuries, including two broken bones in her leg, a dislocated ankle, and a fractured heel. She was transferred by ambulance to the emergency room at St. Vincent Hospital and had to undergo surgery. Because of her injuries, she has missed over a month’s worth of work as a line supervisor. While unable to work at the factory, she took up a part-time job as a gas station clerk.
Our firm is also helping her navigate the complex workers’ compensation process. Mike Bruno and his team will fight for her to receive the compensation she would have earned had she not been injured on the job.
