Woman & Elderly Mother-In-Law Both Severely Injured After Man Fails to Stop at Stop Sign
Our clients were in a vehicle traveling eastbound on US 224 East. One was driving with her 93-year-old mother-in-law in the passenger seat. The other vehicle involved was driving northbound on State Route 67 but failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of US 224 and struck our client’s vehicle. The collision caused both vehicles to leave the roadway. The at-fault driver’s vehicle came to rest in a field, while our clients’ vehicle hit an electrical box. The injured parties were transported by ambulance to Mercy Health Hospital.
Our client who was driving the vehicle fractured her sternum and pelvis. Her mother-in-law had injuries to her abdomen and lower back and was placed on an oxygen tank. Both clients remained in the hospital for three days. They came to Charles Boyk Law Offices for help soon after the accident. Charles Boyk and his team got to work helping our clients receive the medical treatment necessary. We will continue to work on their case to get them the fair compensation they deserve.
