$200,000 Settlement – Man Suffers Broken Bones and Traumatic Brain Injury in Auto Accident

Our client was traveling southbound on Waterville Monclova Road in Monclova, Ohio, nearing his home and had properly stopped to turn left into his driveway, when another driver approached from behind and failed to maintain assured clear distance, causing a collision. The force of the collision sent our client’s vehicle off the roadway, into a ditch and totaling his vehicle. Our client was then transported to a nearby hospital via ambulance for treatment of his injuries. Once at the hospital, diagnostic imaging revealed that our client had suffered a fracture of his thoracic vertebra, fractures of his T1-T4, whiplash, and a mild traumatic brain injury. Our client sought conservative treatment options and completed physical therapy; however, his pain and symptoms only worsened. This worsening pain prompted our client to return to his neurosurgeon who then recommended that he undergo a right C6-7 anterior cervical discectomy and fusion. Following the surgery, our client was required to be off work for a period of time and still experienced persistent pain and symptoms. Our client came to us seeking assistance with the legal aspect of his case. Attorney Michael Bruno and his team worked to secure him a substantial settlement for his medical bills, pain and suffering, and lost wages
