$100,000 Settlement – Woman Suffers Head Injury and Fractured Ribs When Rear-Ended by Distracted Driver

In 2015, our client sustained numerous injuries as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Our client had been stopped at a red light when the defendant driver rear-ended her. The defendant had been distracted by talking to passengers in his car when he struck our client. Our client was transported via ambulance to a nearby hospital to treat her injuries. The Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the scene and issued the defendant a citation for causing the accident.

At the hospital, our client was found to have suffered a head injury, concussion, and multiple fractured ribs. She was admitted to the hospital, where she remained for the next week. Upon being discharged from the hospital, our client went to an inpatient rehabilitation facility for the next two weeks to continue healing from her injuries.

We were contacted by our client’s son shortly after the accident to assist his mother in her recovery. We were able to completely avoid the need for our client to ever set foot into a courtroom as we were able to obtain a satisfactory settlement for her.
