$100,000 Settlement – Motorcyclist Rear-Ended by Car Sustains Serious Injuries

In 2018, our client was traveling on her motorcycle when she was seriously injured in a motor vehicle accident. As our client was traveling westbound along U.S. Route 6, she began to slow to navigate a turn. Failing to notice that our client was slowing down, the defendant driver rear-ended her at 70 miles per hour. The impact from the accident caused our client to be ejected from her motorcycle. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and our client was life-flighted to St. Vincent’s hospital to treat her injuries. At the hospital, our client was found to have sustained spinal fractures, multiple pelvic fractures, a broken nose, road rash, and a hematoma above her eye. She was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit and required surgical intervention to treat her injuries.

We were able to completely avoid the need for our client to ever set foot into a courtroom as we were able to obtain a policy limits settlement for her. The settlement we were able to secure for our client will go a long way to account for the injuries and troubles she has incurred.
