$100,000 Settlement – 24-Year-Old Man Sustains Multiple Injuries When He Is Ejected from His Car
Car Accident InjuriesIn 2019, our client was driving through the intersection of Talmadge Road and Monroe Street in Toledo, Ohio, when he was injured in an auto accident. As our client proceeded through the intersection, he was t-boned by the defendant driver. The impact of the collision caused our client to be ejected from his car and to be violently thrown onto the road. Emergency medical services responded to the accident and transported our client to a nearby hospital to assess his injuries. After an investigation, the defendant was found to be at-fault for causing the accident and was cited by police.
At the hospital, our client was found to have suffered a severe scalp laceration, a broken rib, internal bleeding, and road rash from being thrown onto the road. Due to the extent of his injuries our client was admitted to the hospital, where he remained for four days to treat his injuries. He required multiple staples in his head to treat the scalp laceration and needed close monitoring of his internal injuries. Luckily, our client did not require surgical intervention to address to the internal bleeding. Upon being discharged from the hospital, our client experienced continued pain and restricted mobility due to his injuries.
