Boyk Law Offers Spanish Language Legal Service to Latino Community

We are launching new programs and services to help the Latino communities. We created new Spanish language webpages at Charles Boyk Law website . Intake Specialist, Valentin Ornelas, is available to take calls and speak with potential and existing clients in their native language. He can also assist as a professional interpreter during meetings and case consultations with Boyk Law’s attorneys.
“While growing up within Toledo’s Latino communities, I have definitely seen a need for legal services,” says Ornelas. “It’s a pretty common experience for kids to translate for their parents, especially for big things, like immigration papers, or doctor’s appointments. I definitely did that. It was very scary to do as a kid. It is also potentially dangerous to rely on a child to translate very serious things. People also try to translate things like using Google Translate, or different services like that, and it is difficult, and it’s not entirely accurate all the time. So, there’s definitely a need in our community.”
He recently answered a call from someone about her mom’s auto accident. She was calling because her mother didn’t speak English. Valentin told her, “I speak Spanish, and I can speak with her directly.”
“I’ve heard complaints that there are no good attorneys in Toledo and I don’t believe that,” says Valentin. “I just think they don’t have a connection to good attorneys. I believe that offering legal services in Spanish at Charles Boyk Law Offices is a good thing because the quality of our work is excellent, and we truly care about our clients. I think this will be a very positive change to connect for the Latino communities.”
