Boyk Law Donates Bike Helmets to Washington Local Schools
Charles Boyk Law Offices donated 10 bike helmets to Washington Local Schools Kindergarteners.
Washington Local Kindergarten students started their educational career with a four-week program focused on building a classroom community where students feel safe and secure while getting to know their peers, school staff, daily routines, school rules, and responsibilities.
The theme of this year’s program was transportation. Students participated in many classroom activities that focused on the different modes of transportation. WLS also hosted a vehicle day where students got up close to 15 “vehicles”, including a mini fighter jet from the 180th Ohio Air National Guard, an ambulance, a fire truck, and a school bus.
As part of the transportation theme, Washington Local Schools’ goal was to provide all 463 kindergarten students with a bike helmet to help keep the children safe at play using their own “transportation”, be it a bike, skates, or scooter.
Transportation safety is also very important to Charles Boyk Law Offices. We were happy to provide 10 quality bike helmets to keep the Washington Local Schools students safe. Cassie Studnicha Kusic of the Washington Local Schools Curriculum Department says, “The district truly appreciates Charles Boyk Law’s generous donation.”
