Boyk Attorney Zac Shaffer Invited to OSBA Leadership Academy
Attorney Zac Shaffer was selected to attend the Ohio State Bar Association Leadership Academy. The primary goal of this annual workshop is to “nurture and prepare lawyers for effective leadership in the OSBA, the profession, and their communities.”
“The Leadership Academy is limited to only 24 lawyers, who have practiced law between one and 10 years. Only one participant per firm can be selected. Attorneys chosen to participate in the OSBA’s 2025 Leadership Academy, share a commitment to the goals of the Academy and have demonstrated interaction with the legal and civic communities.
Academy participants attend monthly sessions from January through June 2025. Some sessions are held in Columbus at the Ohio State Bar Association or the Ohio Supreme Court and others are hosted via Zoom. The attorneys earn CLE credit for each session.
Topics for the 2025 Leadership Academy Sessions include:
– Interacting with diverse speakers.
– Networking with lawyers from across Ohio.
– Discussing issues such as civility, ethics and professionalism.
– Enhancing skills, including branding, writing and public speaking.
– Learning about the future of the legal profession.
– Transforming into problem solvers and effective lawyer leaders.
OSBA Leadership Academy participants also work together on an annual service project.
