Warning: Ohio Company Recalls Candy
Seville, Ohio candy maker, Island Delights Inc., has recalled 492 bags of its Coconut Haystack candy.
Earlier this week, the company recalled its product due to the fact that it contains milk, which was found after an audit by The Ohio Department of Agriculture. The milk, which was not specified on the packaging, could possibly cause health concerns to those consumers allergic to it.
At this time, the company has not received any reports of allergic reactions or illness resulting from the consumption of the recalled candy.
