Two Seriously Injured In Ohio Truck Accident
While all of the motor vehicle collisions handled by the Ohio car accident lawyers at the Charles Boyk Law Offices are upsetting, our legal team has noticed one undeniable consistency: the size of the vehicles involved in a crash often play a significant role in determining the severity of the injuries suffered by those involved. In most cases, the larger the vehicles, the larger the injuries.
An example is seen in a recent Toledo truck accident that resulted in the serious injury of two Ohio drivers.
While a FedEx truck was traveling on Highway 36 near Toledo, the driver failed to slow down for a white pickup truck ahead that also slowed to turn. The sheer size of the vehicles involved in the collision caused the highway to be closed down for several hours–but traffic isn’t all it impacted. When emergency medical crews arrived on the scene, they rushed both drivers to the nearby hospital where they are listed with serious injuries.
Although no additional details are available at this time, police are currently investigating the cause of this tragic Ohio truck accident. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
