Sobriety Checkpoints Increasing Across Ohio
Sobriety Checkpoints Increasing Across Ohio

A recent increase in sobriety checkpoints across Northwest Ohio has led to one being slated in Genoa this weekend.

On Friday, police will continue to conduct tests for impaired drivers from 11:00 pm to 1:00 am.

Police are conducting checkpoints more frequently these days to help ensure the safety of drivers across Ohio.

In 2010, Ohio had 341 fatalities, not including various other injuries, caused by drunk drivers; with almost 75% of individuals involved in these crashes having higher than a .15 BAC. We at the Charles E. Boyk Law Offices would like to remind you to be safe on the roads and to always have a safe ride planned if you are going out.

If you or someone you know has been involved in a car accident caused by the actions of a drunk driver, call our Genoa, Ohio car accident attorneys at for a free case evaluation or to request your free copy of The Ohio Accident Book.
