Ohio Hunting Accident Injuries

With deer hunting season underway, our office would like to remind all of those hunting this season to be cautious. Every year people are injured or killed because of hunting accidents. There are a few precautions that can be taken to help prevent these things from occurring.

The first thing is to make sure that you know where your fellow hunters are. Too many hunters are firing at moving deer without accounting for the location of their fellow hunters. This is a sure way to accidentally fire at another person.

Another common problem that has been noticed lately is that hunters are shooting in dense fog. If you cannot see into the  fog, don’t shoot.

You do not know what is beyond the fog and do not want to take the chance of accidentally shooting someone.

It is so important to make sure that all safety precautions are taken while hunting.

While the sport can be rewarding, it can also be very dangerous.

Before going hunting, make sure that you and all of the people you are with are fully aware of the proper hunting safety.
