Fines Handed Out in Cincinnati Casino Collapse
Six companies have been fined close to $108,000 after the Horseshoe Casino’s floor collapsed in Cincinnati, Ohio during a construction project. Investigators stated approximately 12 workers were injured in the collapse and even though most of their injuries were minor, punishment will still be distributed. Companies involved have not been named and neither have their total count of violations. But, a spokesman of Messer Construction, based in Cincinnati, has been notified of $25,200 in fines.
