Changing The Rules On Youth Sports Head Injuries
Changing The Rules On Youth Sports Head Injuries

Our child accident lawyers are pleased to announce that lawmakers have agreed to draft a new bill into law to protect our children. Awaiting official approval by Governor Kasich, the bill proposed would require coaches to sit any athlete who displays concussion-like symptoms until further medical examination can be acquired.

The bill will be responsible for all entities outside of the Ohio High School Athletic Association, due to the fact that OSHAA has its own guidelines regarding head injuries and concussions.

Governor Kasich has already agreed to sign the bill into law, and this bill will help to prevent the worsening of concussions that could lead to serious injury or death.

If you or someone you know has a child who has been injured by one of child accidents listed above you need information.
