Car Collides Into Dump Truck
Thursday evening around 5:19 p.m. in Big Spring Township, a car collided with a dump truck on County Road 45.
Bryan R. Chaney, 26, of Alvada Ohio, was driving a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am on County Road 45. He then ran a stop sign and hit the side of a 2005 Mack dump truck driven by, Karl J. Reese, 55, of Carey Ohio.
Neither Chaney nor Reese was taken to the hospital according to Jake Tidaback of the Fremont post of State Highway Patrol.
However, Chaney was cited with failure to stop at a stop sign.
Thankfully nobody was seriously injured in this accident.
While handling any moving vehicle, it is very important to pay attention to the road. It is very easy to miss a stop sign if you are distracted.
Being involved in a car accident is very unfortunate and is the last thing anybody wants. Having your undivided attention on the road at all time can reduce accidents similar to this one.
