Bus Driver In Ohio Accused Of Choking Young Student

A Columbus school district in the state of Ohio is attempting to fire a bus driver that has been accused of choking a third grade special-needs student.

The city district states that video surveillance shows the driver assaulting the 9-year-old girl on Tuesday March 20th 2012.

A spokesman for the district says that it is not clear what led to this behavior. The video surveillance recovered does not reveal what could have been the cause for such heinous action against a young child.

The bus driver has been suspended without pay pending a hearing on a district charge of malfeasance.

The young girl’s foster mother, who referred to it in a report as an endangering children offense, reported the incident to the authorities. Those authorities are currently investigating this event.
