BelVita Breakfast Biscuits Recalled Due To Possible Metal Mesh Presence
Mondelez Global LLC announced on Thursday that they would be recalling their belVita Breakfast Biscuit products in 2 different flavors – apple cinnamon and chocolate. The recall was issued after the company received word from a third-party supplier that there was a possible presence of flexible metal mesh fragments in the product, due to a faulty screen at the facility.
The products being recalled are as follows:
belVita Breakfast Biscuit, Chocolate Variety, 1.76 oz
belVita Breakfast Biscuit, Chocolate Variety, 8.8 oz
belVita Breakfast Biscuite, Chocolate Variety, 14.08 oz
belVita Breakfast Biscuit, Apple Cinnamon Variety, 1.76 oz
belVita Breakfast Biscuit, Apple Cinnamon Variety, 8.8 oz
(The Retail UPC’s and Best When Used By dates can be found on the Ohio Department of Agriculture website.)
The packages affected by this recall are those of the above flavors that were sold within the United States, including Puerto Rico.
