BeCause Our Love Is Needed exists to help children that suffer from illness, poverty or significant life challenges by offering financial relief to them and their families.
When a serious accident, illness, or other adverse circumstance strikes a family, the effects can be severe. But when these things strike a child, the results can be disastrous – even ruinous to the family. Normal life comes to a halt; dreams are shattered; finances are strained if not completely destroyed; careers may be forfeited, and all too often the marriage is in jeopardy.
If the family is fortunate, they will have the support of caring neighbors, close friends, church members and extended family to help them carry the burden of the adversity. The not-so-fortunate will feel the weight of the world on their shoulders as they battle seemingly insurmountable obstacles – and many will lose hope.
When the founders of this organization became victims of adversity it cost them the life of their five-year old son, Colin. The love and support that they received from their COMMUNITY showed them that people can come together and make a difference in the lives of those in impossible circumstances and became the inspiration for this organization.
BeCause Our Love Is Needed seeks to create an environment that will bring the community together to love and support those families with children in severely adverse circumstances. Specifically, it will undertake to alleviate some of the financial burdens that accompanies such events so the families can focus their energy and attention on the child, where it belongs.
