Bald Tires To Blame In Wrongful Death Suit

A wrongful death suit has been filed against Tyler Motor Co. for the death of one of their temporary employees on February 9, 2009. The accident occurred when Andrew Frazier was driving a delivery truck from the defendant’s lot. When Mr. Frazier attempted a routine lane change from the middle lane of the highway, his truck began to hydroplane sideways. The truck collided with an oncoming pick up truck and as a result of the accident, Andrew suffered fatal injuries. The defendants, Tyler Motor Co., are accused of negligence for allowing Andrew to drive a vehicle with bald tires. They failed to maintain the truck in a safe and drivable condition and failed to provide safe equipment and a safe working environment.

Through further investigation in the case it was found that the defendants also terminated a previous employee for complaining about the condition of the delivery truck. Tyler Motor Co. had a responsibility to maintain their truck in a safe manner. Because they did not a simple delivery run turned fatal.

They should be held responsible for their negligence.
