Target has voluntarily recalled their Home Bunny Sippy Cups after noticing the ear on the bunny cup can poke children in the eyes while drinking. Target Corporation of Minneapolis, Minn.
have recalled close to 264,000 Bunny sippy cups which are sold exclusively at Target stores. The cups can in a pink and blue female and male bunny designs containing handles on both sides.
The lid of the cup is a white bunny head with one straight ear and one bent ear. Cuts and bruises have been reported after use of this product with 6 reports as of today being accounted for.
The cups posing an injury hazard can be identified by numbers on the bottom: “TARGET 200020683″ for the pink cups and “TARGET 200020884″ for the blue cups.
From February 2012 through April 5, 2012 the child’s cups were sold for $3, and consumers are instructed to immediately stop using the recalled sippy cups and return them to any Target store for a full refund. Consumers are also advised to contact Target at (800) 440-0680 Monday through Friday between 7 a.
