AARP To Offer Senior Driving Courses
The American Association for Retired Persons, also known as AARP, is teaming up with the Rossford Public Library and Rossford Police to offer a driving class for individuals over the age of 65.
This four hour class will help seniors to review basic laws and refine their skills on the road.
Leonard Stovall, the instructor of the class, states, “Senior citizens are responsible for the highest percentage of left turn and right of way accidents.
” Not only will this class help the AARP to narrow down who should and should not be on the road, but certain insurance companies will offer discounts for seniors taking the course.
