5-Year-Old Killed In Car Accident
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family who lost their 5-year-old boy in a tragic car accident.
According State Police the crash happen when a Jeep rear-ended an Acura setting off a chain reaction crash.
James Owen was driving the Acura with Susan Owen and their two children, 9 year-old Alexandra Owen and 5 year-old Jake Owen. Owens began to brake due to traffic when the Jeep, driven by 23-year-old Devin McKeiver, slammed into the rear of the Owen’s family.
The crash forced the Acura into the rear of a Toyota Pruis, which then hit the back of a Subaru.
Alexandra and Jake were airlifted to Johns Hopkins Children’s Center. Jake died from his injuries. James and Susan had serious injuries and were taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital.
McKeiver was taken to Sinai Hospital where he was treated and released.
This accident is still under investigation.
