2 Injured In Failure To Yield Crash
Two men were hurt Sunday morning in a car accident that was not their fault. The accident in question occurred at around 11:30 a.m. when George Johnson, driver of the car, and Gregory Johnson, the passenger in the car, were traveling south on Towpath Road when Guy Nelson pulled his vehicle out into the path of the Johnson’s thus causing the wreck.
Both George Johnson and Gregory Johnson were taken by ambulance to the hospital and treated for their injuries. Their current condition is unknown at this time.
Mr. Nelson was cited by authorities for failure to yield the right of way. It is still not clear why Mr. Nelson failed to yield the right of way and caused the accident.
