1 Teen Killed, 1 Hurt In Car Ride From Cedar Point

Coming home from a weekend of fun at Cedar Point a 17-year-old girl was killed and another teen injured. This Toledo car accident was caused by a wrong-way driver. Jazzmine Cierra Pringle was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Michigan State Police. Tori Bianca Toliva, also 17, a passenger in Ms.

Pringle’s car, was treated at Oakwood Southshore Medical Center in Trenton, Michigan.

The teenagers, returning to Detroit from a fun weekend at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, were northbound on the interstate near Ready Road in Monroe County’s Berlin Township 12:25 a.

m. Sunday when their car was struck head-on by a pickup being driven the wrong way by a 31-year-old Britton, Michigan man, causing the truck to overturn. The name of the driver of the pickup was being withheld pending police investigation. Police said they found several cans of beer and liquor on the road around the pickup and a half-full keg of beer inside it. Charges were pending, police said.
