BGSU Professor Indicted on three counts of first-degree rape
Timothy Davis was indicted on Sept. 8, 2021, by Lucas County deputies on three counts of first-degree rape. The adjunct professor at Bowling Green State University is accused of sexually assaulting a child under the age of 10 from March through August of this year.
As of September 15, 2021, the professor is on paid leave at BGSU while in the custody of Lucas County. His bond is set for $200,000 for each charge, totaling at $600,000. The pretrial date is currently set for next month on October 6.
