Apple technology is a cornerstone of the modern world. From the introduction of the iMac in 1997 to the iPhone in 2007, Apple has always been one of the premiere technology companies. So it stands to reason that when Apple released Apple AI, in October 2024, there would be no exception. Like other AI software, Apple AI has numerous benefits that can truly help your business grow and succeed. Compared to past software that I have reviewed, Apple AI definitely stands apart.
One of the most beneficial aspects of Apple AI is its ability to seemingly learn and grow based on its user. Numerous AI software choices boast their ability to summarize information, assist with drafting and writing, and promote efficiency. However, in my opinion, Apple AI offers a more personalized experience while doing the same actions. For example, much like Siri or similar phone “assistants”, Apple AI seemingly learns how you write and adapts over continued use.
It offers the ability to rewrite text, proofread, and summarize text, among other options. In addition, it also offers transcription and format alterations, like creating outlines or lists based on data input. Essentially, it is an AI tool that adapts to the user to create a more personalized result. Whether you have to summarize a case or want a quick, bullet-pointed list of the arguments made in opposing counsel’s motion, Apple AI can nearly do it all.
Now, while Apple AI has clear benefits and the capacity to grow, it is not without its setbacks. Specifically, the clash of operating systems that has plagued society between Apple products and non-Apple products continues to run rampant. Whether it is a green text message in a sea of blue messages or enduring the formatting headaches between MacOS and Windows, you have likely experienced some form of compatibility issues between operating systems. Apple AI, despite all of the good, will still run into these types of issues.
While compatibility issues may arise, one of the biggest benefits of Apple AI is the cost. Unlike other options, Apple AI in included in your iOS/MacOS system. While I am in no way stating that Apple products are inexpensive, if you already have an Apple device, Apple AI is by far one of the more useful artificial intelligence software on the market.
