Amelia’s Big Day!
Amelia is one of our 2024 Bikes for Kids winners. We met this amazing young lady when her mother nominated her for our contest.
She told us how Amelia suffers from an extremely rare genetic disorder that affects her eyes, brain, and bones called Coats Plus Syndrome with Calcifications and Cysts. Coats Plus is an incurable illness that afflicts less than 100 people in the United States. Boyk Law presented her with a new bike, which she enjoyed riding all summer.
Boyk Law recently discovered that Amelia was turning 5, and everyone knows, a fifth birthday is a pretty big deal. Well we couldn’t let such a momentous occasion pass without a significant celebration.
