A: No. In Ohio, workers can go to any physician of their choosing to receive care and diagnosis of their injuries. Sometimes, employers will coerce injured workers into seeing doctors who will go along with what is best for the company, not your own financial situation. Recognizing this, Ohio Compensation laws explicitly state that injured workers have the first choice in where they go to receive medical evalutations.
