In two separate Yaz commercials, the consumer could think that Yaz birth control treats a common problem affecting women, premenstrual syndrome, or PMS. In reality, the pill only treats a separate and totally different problem, PMDD. 

The commercials also state that Yaz can clear up adult acne, which is also not true, according to the FDA.

More importantly, Yaz has been found to cause a number of serious health problems for women taking the once-daily birth control pill.
