Wrongful death suit filed after fire kills woman | Ohio wrongful death attorneys

A lawsuit was filed in federal court after a Wisconsin woman died in a house fire while on a fishing trip, according to the Jere Beasley report. A total of three people who were staying at the Big Horn Trout Shop's adjoining lodge died in the lodge fire. It is unknown how the fire started.

The lawsuit alleges that Big Horn Trout Shop Inc. wasn't equipped with adequate safety equipment, including a working in-room smoke detector. The family of the woman who died in the fire is also claiming that Big Horn failed to keep the premises reasonably safe by maintaining an adequaet fire safety system.

Our Ohio wrongful death lawyers are handling a similar case. We represent the estate of a 45-year-old man who died in a fire at his apartment building. The fire is still under investigation, but it is alleged that there were no smoke detectors where he was sleeping.
