Worker sues after falling into hole | Toledo Ohio work injury attorney

Antonio Marco Torrres has filed a lawsuit against Eastman Chemical for a accident that took place on May 24th while he was working for Gregg Industries Insulators. Mr. Torres along with his co-workers were told to repair a steam leak near a room on the grounds of the Eastman Chemical Co. plant.

The lawsuit alleges that Mr. Torres was walking back to his truck to get his tools when the ground collapsed under him, causing him to fall into a hole.

The lawsuit claims that the defendant is accused of negligence for failure to provide adequate assistance and proper equipment to perform the job, failure to provide a safe place to work, fauilure to implement procedures that would protect workers and failure to adequately monitor the environment.

Antonio suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns from the hot steam coming from the bottom of the hole.
