Woman Who Struck, Killed Teen Wants License Back | Toledo, Ohio car accident attorney

Cynthia Anderson, the Toledo woman who failed to stop for a school bus and consequently struck and killed a Sylvania teen, is looking to have her suspended license reinstated.

Anderson's license was suspended for 10 years after she hit Morgan Duris, 15, as the teen crossed the street to get on the bus. After the car accident it was determined that Anderson was going at least 50 miles an hour in the 35 mile per hour zone.

In addition to having her license suspended, Anderson has also been sentenced to three years of community control and will have to complete 200 hours of community service.

Our law office is saddened to hear about this case and is interested to see whether Anderson will be allowed back on the streets.

Her hearing will take place today.
