Victim of truck accident receives settlement

On October 28, 2008 Michael Edward Thorntonwas driving an 18 wheeler truck and was following the vehcile ahead of him very closely. To avoid rear-ending the vehicle, he swerved into the opposite lane. He hit the vehicle that was travelling in the opposite lane.

The driver of the car suffered back injuries, neck injuries, fractured bones, and other serious injuries. He incurred thousands of dollars worth of medical bills and was in excruciating pain. The case was recently settled outside of court for $875, 000.
