Utility Worker Killed While Working
On Wednesday afternoon 53-year-old Russell Callahan was working to install internet service. As he was working a part of the bucket truck he was working in hit a power line. He was electrocuted and then fell backward and hit his head.
Mr. Callahan was taken from the scene of the accident to a nearby hospital where he was tragically pronounced dead. Because Russell experienced both electrocution and a head injury, it is unclear as to exactly how he died. Both injuries he sustained may have been the cause. This fatal workplace accident is currently being investigated by the authorities.
